MS Dhoni, 36, beats youngster Hardik Pandya in 100m dash, watch video

Many people have questioned the Indian captain and current wicketkeeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s fitness and who is being advised to retire from cricket. But this video is enough to tell that Dhoni is one of the fittest cricketers in the Indian team for a reason. BCCI released this video and is now becoming increasingly viral on social media.

During the warm-up session in Mohali, Dhoni and Hardik Pandya headed for their 100-metre sprint. After a casual start, Pandya looked at Dhoni to suggest the sprint wasn’t all fun and games but serious business. Dhoni accelerated immediately and beat Pandya rather comfortably. The duo shared a laugh after the sprint.

Fans could not stop raving about Dhoni’s fitness levels, especially considering that Pandya is 12 years his junior.

India and Sri Lanka are playing a three-match ODI series and the second ODI of the series is being played in Mohali. Sri Lanka won the toss and put India to bat first. India had lost the first game in an embarrassing manner. They were bowled out for 112 runs before Sri Lanka chased the target down with seven wickets in hand.
